The Financial Provider Compensation Analyst Senior is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the administration and development of provider compensation practices for INTEGRIS Health. The position works directly under the manager of provider compensation to develop compensation strategies/models and measure the effectiveness of provider compensation plans to ensure that the INTEGRIS overall provider strategy is supported. The position will ensure provider compensation is processed on a timely basis and that the day-to-day questions about provider compensation are resolved in a timely manner. The Provider Compensation Analyst will partner with Finance, Practice Operations, and other departments, and act as a liaison between the organization and INTEGRIS provider groups. In addition, the position will assist with developing and evaluating compensation for acquisitions. INTEGRIS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Responsibilities

The Financial Provider Compensation Analyst Senior responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assists with training of and providing direction to comp analysts.
  • Serves as a liaison between INTEGRIS Medical Group, General Counsel, and third parties with financial matters impacting provider compensation.
  • Teaches and assists department directors and managers to interpret provider compensation results.
  • Oversees preparation of monthly compensation calculations; reviews models and resolves issues within the models.
  • Primary contact for providers, administrative leadership, and other internal and external parties for subjects associated with provider compensation models
  • Communicates provider compensation issues to practice administrators and offer recommendations to implement changes as they occur
  • Prepare specialty compensation related projects and participates in any internal audits related to provider compensation.
  • Works on compensation related data needed for strategic plan and annual budget
  • Meets with administrative leadership, providers, and other operational personnel to review compensation models and/or any compensation issues.
  • Summarize and analyze provider compensation and productivity data, including market data analyses, interpretation of compensation data, and comparative analysis to industry benchmarks.
  • Develop provider compensation models that support the INTEGRIS provider initiative and controlling costs while enhancing provider performance and rewards associated with performance.
  • Provide input on target acquisition deal structures to be used in financial proformas
  • Completes special assignments in support of INTEGRIS strategy to retain key provider/practice groups to support the INTEGRIS service line strategy
  • Understand the regulatory environment, mechanics of healthcare reimbursement, entity arrangement types, and overall industry trends and risks.
  • Recognize and analyze problems regarding agreements and the conceptual framework for fair market value
  • Completes specialty projects as assigned by the manager of provider compensation.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related area of study, OR 4 years of experience.
  • 5-6 years compensation, finance, or statistic/quantitative analysis experience
  • Advanced computer skills in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, or similar software, and EPIC or similar billing systems and financial software
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and the ability to analyze, organize and interpret data using a logical systematic process
  • Certified Public Accountant, or CPA eligible preferred
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
