We are currently looking to fill 3 Equity Research Intern seats to join the below sectors within our Technology team.

• Infrastructure & Communication Software in Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Buffalo, NY or Portland, OR.
• Fintech in New York, NY.
• Semiconductors in New York, NY or Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL or Portland, OR.

These Equity Research Intern positions er at the associate level and offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a meaningful role in our Technology group. The individual will:

• Work in partnership with the senior analyst to conduct extensive company and industry research.
• Create financial models and valuation analyses.
• Write company reports, industry reports, and develop investment recommendations.
• Form relationships with company management teams through meetings, calls, roadshows, etc.
• Make company visits and attend industry conferences.
• As associates develop industry expertise, they will have additional responsibility for marketing their team's research and investment recommendations to our sales force and to institutional investors.

Requirements

• Equity Research or Investment Banking experience preferred.
• The associate position is a demanding and fast-paced job that requires the ability to think quickly on one's feet and work independently.
• Strong candidates will have an intense interest in the stock market and a demonstrated record of professional, academic and personal achievement.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding quantitative and organizational skills.
• A strong competitive spirit balanced by a proven ability to work as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; May 2025 encouraged to apply.
• Strong financial modeling experience required.
• Securities Industry Essentials, Series 86 and 87 required (or willingness to obtain).
• Progress towards CFA a plus.

Please note that this internship is anticipated to be for a 3-month period and could lead to a full-time position dependent on performance.

The anticipated starting hourly range for Minnesota, Illinois, New York or Oregon-based individuals expressing interest in this internship is $21 - $30 an hour. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors.

If offered full time role post internship: The anticipated starting salary range for Minnesota, Illinois, New York or Oregon-based individuals expressing interest in full-time position is $75,000 - 90,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
