This position is a 12-month Limited-Term position that may be extended and/or become permanent.
The reporting location for this position is Natural Resources Headquarters building in Sacramento, CA). This position will work under the general direction of Staff Services Manager II.
The Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) performs a variety of complex special project assignments and provides consultative and operational support in the areas of project management, audit reviews, business analysis and research, forms development, and policies and procedures development on behalf of the Human Resources (HR) Classification and Hiring Branch. The incumbent must maintain an open and solution-focused mindset, successfully lead project teams, effectively communicate with stakeholders, demonstrate subject matter expertise around classification and hiring, and perform well in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment
This position is designated as telework eligible-remote centered.
