Objective of the position
Act as a business influencer by providing useful financial information to the Project Management/Project team, as well as Sales in order to achieve company’s goals. Actively facilitate good relationship with all involved business partners working together to assure the profitability of carline.
Ensure in cooperation with the project manager lifetime EBIT according to company targets.
Principal activities
- Act as a financial business influencer for main project manager (HPL) and areas project managers (FPL) for all assigned carline development projects.
- Act as the main project controller for assigned electric (ES) or high voltage (HV) carlines.
- Conduct carline result planning (BEP) for the acquisition phase of assigned “A Projects” in collaboration with the cost calculator and the project teams in order to support the sales division negotiations.
- Ensure that BEP acquisition is done before offer to customer and review by regional CFO and COO and escalation in case of non-confirmative result.
- Conduct all necessary BEP revisions for assigned development projects in the management provided timeline. Review and validate BEP data provided by project team members and compare with other projects results & areas premises.
- Present BEP result to management, archive information upon approval and maintain data in the DRX Product Report on a monthly basis. Communicate chances and risks to the project and challenge the project team to continuously improve the result.
- Use benchmark with other DRX projects in order to incorporate better business practices and to validate inputs.
- Monthly preparation and distribution (in PLM/Tooling Tracker for IS) of project budget vs actuals to HPL's/ FPL's. Closely monitor Investment and tooling cash flow in order to comply with the budget targets.
- Lead the yearly budgeting/ forecasting process by providing up to date information of project expenses, project hours and project investments
- Evaluate Wire calculations per the projects requests and give a recommendation for the decision making.
- Ensure new project controlling standard closely with central controlling in order to adapt the project controlling standards.
- In cooperation with Sales controller follow up 2 times per year (June/December) the profitability of the carline.
- Ensure with cooperation with the plant controller the planning and follow up of Ramp up Cost for Carline Cost Center.
Requirements:
Professional career: BD • Business Administration (Finance / Controlling) Industrial Engineering and Economics.
Relevant experience: 3-5 years working in the role in the automotive environment. Project controls and interface knowledge in the areas of sales, development, production and purchasing , cost acounting
English Business Level.
