Finance Analyst (India Controllership)
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, tax and other local filings.
- Assist towards annual statutory, tax and transfer study and audit as per local gaap requirements.
- Assist in reconciling information and responding to requests for information to assist with consolidation by parent US Company as per USGAAP.
- Facilitate requests from various departments including tax authorities, external auditors and regulators.
- Interaction with various internal stakeholders across finance and various departments in Asia, Europe and NY and external stakeholders including Banks, auditors, tax advisors.
- Identify opportunities and participate in various finance related projects (local and regional), and assist in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 1 to 3 years post-qualification.
- Chartered Accountant with relevant corporate accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and India GAAP. US GAAP Experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) required.
- Strong technical proficiency with web applications and MS Office (strong Excel skills)
- Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills and judgment with strong attention to detail.
- Team player.
