Job Summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team as a CAD Engineer. If you're passionate about CAD design and eager to kick-start your career, this could be the perfect role for you. As a CAD Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our CAD design process for various projects. You'll work closely with our experienced CAD team, creating accurate and high-quality 3D designs while following established design standards.

The position is based in Utrecht (Netherlands)

What you will do

  • Create precise 3D designs using CAD software, bringing project requirements to life.
  • Collaborate with our CAD team to ensure designs are accurate and meet our quality standards.
  • Follow established design standards and guidelines throughout the design process.
  • Assist in reviewing and verifying designs to ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • Generate detailed technical drawings and documentation to support the design process.
  • Participate in design review meetings, providing valuable input and ideas.
  • Keep our CAD files and documentation organized and up to date.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
  • Support the CAD team with other related tasks and projects as needed.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Business fluency in English and ideally in Dutch
  • Strong attention to detail and a knack for accurate design work.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and design standards.
  • A proactive attitude, eager to learn and grow in the role
