Senior IT QA is a position requiring working with our international clients, business partners, architects, developers, end users, management and other IT groups to drive test cases automation for all testing activities for the features delivered.

In summary, the Senior IT QA analyst will be a role of Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in designing and executing scalable automation solutions for both UI and API testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and/or .NET, REST API automation, APIM, BDD frameworks, and working knowledge of AI-powered testing tools. This role also requires ownership of regression/sanity automation, daily CI/CD test execution, and coordination across functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery in Agile environments

This position will be in Hyderabad at our India location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium, Java/.NET, and relevant tools.
  • Automate and continuously update backlog regression/sanity test cases for both UI and APIs.
  • Execute daily automated regression/sanity testing using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Create and maintain BDD-style test cases using Cucumber (Java) or SpecFlow (.NET).
  • Test REST APIs are integrated through API Management platforms like Azure APIM.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with functional/business teams to clarify requirements, understand workflows, and validate testing needs.
  • Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools, Functionize) for self-healing tests, visual validation, and test optimization.
  • Identify high-risk areas and prioritize automation coverage accordingly.
  • Conduct test reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote automation best practices.
  • Monitor automated test runs, debug failures, and ensure test stability.
  • Report test results, logs, and metrics to stakeholders using dashboards or reporting tools.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with deep knowledge of:
  • Java and/or .NET (C#) for scripting
  • Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
  • RestAssured, Postman, Swagger for API automation
  • BDD frameworks (Cucumber/SpecFlow)
  • Strong experience in automating regression test suites and executing them via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with API Management tools like Azure APIM or Apigee.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test result reporting
  • Experience in AI-enhanced testing tools or concepts
  • Experience with tools like ADO
  • Basic SQL knowledge to work with Oracle database.
