About this Opportunity:

We are now looking for a newly graduated engineer that will start as a DevOps Developer in our Radio Base Control System Build & CI/CD team. Our sector is responsible for the ControlSystem (both for embedded and for cloud) for Ericsson’s Radio Base Stations and our focus is on 5G and future 6G technologies.

What you will do:

In the team you will work with development of the build system and the CI/CD pipeline for the Control System SW. You will work hands-on with the CI/CD pipeline and software integration for the Control System used in Ericsson’s Radio Base Stations. We are organized in teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work and our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working

You will contribute to maintaining and evolving our infrastructure for software integration, including automation of build, test and deployment flows, in close collaboration with development teams to ensure high-quality deliveries of our software.

You will gain hands-on experience in working with technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm, as well as Linux and embedded build tools like Yocto.

You will be part of a diverse and collaborative team with a mix of senior and junior colleagues, where learning and sharing knowledge is encouraged.

Skills you bring:

  • A bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Engineering Physics (recent graduates or with a few years of relevant experience)
  • General programming skills and interests/experience in scripting languages e.g. Bash.
  • Knowledge in GIT and Jenkins.
  • Interests/experience in operating systems, especially Linux, and general handling of computers. Yocto knowledge is an advantage.
  • Interests/experience related to building software, CI/CD pipeline and Kubernetes/Docker/Helm.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technological areas.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
  • A keen interest in the telecommunications field.
