The Impact You’ll Make

You will fill a vital support role that is crucial to ensure Recursion's global laboratories operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will be actively involved in maintaining the readiness and organization of lab spaces through routine task execution. Specifically, you will contribute to the comprehensive management of laboratory supplies and resources, including stocking and organizing reagents and consumables, preparing equipment and glassware through autoclaving, and ensuring proper waste removal and treatment according to safety protocols. Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to other global laboratory support initiatives and cross-functional work, including general cleaning, organizing, and optimizing lab areas, assisting with basic equipment and lab readiness checks, maintaining inventory documentation, and supporting facility initiatives related to lab upkeep. Ultimately, your contributions will significantly decrease the routine, task-based burden on scientific teams, while increasing overall efficiency and laboratory productivity by ensuring essential resources are readily available and lab environments are maintained.

In this role, you will:

• Learn by observing globally how our laboratory operations run and how your support tasks contribute to their daily flow and industrialization.
• Execute task-based work such as stocking, autoclaving, and waste management across diverse lab environments and physical locations.
• Demonstrate flexibility and time optimization to manage a variety of competing daily priorities and be able to shift and adapt at a moment’s notice.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the Global Lab Services team and across all lab-facing and support staff to assist with, crosstrain, understand, and support global laboratory readiness programs.

The Team You’ll Join

You will be joining the Global Lab Services team at Recursion, which works to support lab and site operations across laboratory footprints in the US and the UK. You’ll collaborate with your teammates and across departments to expand and enable Recursion to continue to grow and succeed in our mission to decode biology.

The Experience You’ll Need

• Preference given for previous laboratory or operations experience
• Proven track record of 3+ years of consistent and dependable work performance.
• Strong organization skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 + lbs

Working Location & Compensation:

This position is based at our office located in Salt Lake City. This position is 100% onsite work; occasional weekend work may be required.

At Recursion, we believe that every employee should be compensated fairly. Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is: $64,600 - $84,000 USD. You will also be eligible for an annual bonus and equity compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
