You will be an integral part of the Ogden On-site Engineering Support Group. Our team is responsible for the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs and maintenance of Lockheed Martin's engineering databases and drawings.

What You Will Be Doing

As the mechanical engineer you will impact everything from engineering diagram integrity to determination of aircraft upgrade impacts. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Researching configuration impacts using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases.
  • Modifying mechanical drawings and designs
  • Understanding and creating engineering application lists (ALs), parts list (PLs), reference designator lists (RDLs), drawing notes, service data lists (SDLs), PL notes, and usage flags.
  • Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Further Information About This Opportunity

This position is located on-site at Hill AFB, Utah. A relocation package may be available. Successful candidates must be US citizens and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

  • At least 2 years professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Experience with CATIA v4/v5 or equivalent computer aided design software

Desired Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

  • Experience with F-16 type versions and effectivity
  • Experience interpreting military standard aircraft drawings
  • Familiarity with aeronautics specifications, engineering drawings, and F-16 aircraft mechanical/structural maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
