The IT Competence Center Supply Chain Management provides solutions for the global Supply Chain Planning at Continental Tires. We drive Artificial Intelligence based projects in this area to efficiently manage the growing complexity in a volatile business environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) to actively support us at the Hanover location starting in August 2025 for 5 months. The weekly working hours are a maximum of 20 hours per week. The job offers the opportunity to work hybrid, but also directly in our new headquarters in Hanover!

As working student (m/f/d) at Tire IT Competence Center Supply Chain Management , you will work closely with our motivated and dynamic team to help shape digital solutions. Your work will help increase the efficiency of our internal customers and help them optimize their processes

Your tasks:

• Documentation of technical solution on Confluence
• Development of Power BI dashboards as business user interfaces or for analytical purposes
• User interface development for AI solutions in Python Dash
• PMO and support for different AI projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, informatics or comparable field of study
• First professional experience in the area of Data Science and/or Demand planning
• First experience in working on IT projects
• Knowledge in at least one object­-oriented programming language (e.g. Python)
• Expertise with self-service BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Knowledge in using database systems (e.g. SQL)
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
