Educational and Experience Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Three years of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs complex administrative and supervisory work related to special events and scholarships for the College of Education.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees all work assigned related to special events, donor relations, and scholarships within the College of Education. Coordinates all college-wide special events. Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of special events, donor contributions, and scholarship distribution. Implements and completes follow-through of the creation of new revenue sources related to special events, including the evaluation of current events and success of funding. Prepares regular budget reports and compiles statistical data related to special events, donor contributions, and scholarships. Makes data-informed decisions. Responsible for the creation of college-wide procedures related to event services, giving, and scholarships. Responsible for communication between the college, financial aid, and advancement, related to distribution of scholarships. Maintains scholarship database and ensures proper distribution of scholarships. Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations to Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations. Develops and recommends program guidelines. Interprets policies, rules, and regulations and ensures they are followed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other university departments, personnel, and other agencies.
