Educational and Experience Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Three years of experience in a related field. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs complex administrative and supervisory program work for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) by collaborating with faculty during the educational process to receive resources, support, and information required to manage their curriculum to promote medical student development. Works to ensure course stability, data management, communications, and departmental standard operating procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs advanced coordinator duties. Oversees the day-to-day operations of educational programming including course coordination and serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff across the program. Prepares, distributes, and tracks educational materials and assignments. Manages education related correspondence. Coordinates details for pre-clerkship or clerkship course activities. Provides support for the curriculum mapping process and audits data as necessary. Assists with the uploading and organization of materials in the curriculum management system and manages other educational needs. Functions as a resource to the Course/Clerkship Director and/or invited presenters to ensure seamless delivery of the curricular experience. Develops and implements processes and procedures to streamline and enhance educational support services. Supports faculty use of the Learning Management Software (LMS) and tracks student engagement across the curriculum. Ensures online course materials meet college design standards. Coordinates and manages the use and access of educational software. Monitors student academic progress and coordinates degree audits with college partners across offered programs. Effectively communicates resources, policies, and guidelines to staff, faculty, and students. Participates in the planning and support of faculty and student events, including trainings. Supports and trains faculty and student use of educational technologies. Performs other related duties assigned.

Demonstrates personal initiative and leadership abilities to deal with a rapidly changing environment. Proficient in computer and software skills and familiarity with Learning Management Systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to multi-task and complete work in required timelines.
