About the opportunity
Reporting to the Development Manager, You are a Test Engineer who is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables throughout the agile development life cycle. Test Engineer is a technical role requiring excellent coding skills and thorough understanding of coding practices.
As a Test Engineer, you will collaborate with all stakeholders to create high quality test automation tools and solutions to drive highest product quality. By working closely with our QA Analyst, Business Analysts and Developers, you will understand the design, implementation and focus on complex scenarios aimed at delivering quality code to our large user base.

What you’ll get to do
- Collaborate with fellow developers, architects, test analysts, product owners and key stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure the product has met functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Analyze, design, write, execute and automate test cases. Perform failure analysis in support of continuous improvement in test results.
- Coordinate with scrum team members (developers, QA analysts and product owners) to produce stable, maintainable and reliable automated test cases.
- Ensure automated tests are effectively covering new product features and associated requirements.
- Analyze automated test results and improve automated test coverage to maintain product quality.
- Improve and implement automation framework code to expand automated test coverage.
- Be adaptable in learning new methodologies and technologies to improve the automated testing processes.
Skills and experience we value
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise software development
- English language skills, written and spoken
- Experience and knowledge in Object Oriented Programming using C# / Java
- Solid experience in writing maintainable code and creating automated test scripts for tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, FitNesse and Jmeter
- Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and excellent understanding of the development process
- Inquisitive attitude a must
- Experience working with API testing
- Experience working with enterprise applications
- Experience working with Cloud Azure testing
What would make you really stand out
- Experience with performance testing and SpecFlow is a plus
- Experience working with enterprise cloud application in HCM or Payroll space is a plus
- Experience working with fintech or payments application software
- Experience with Jenkins, JMeter, Cucumber, TestNG
- Experience with RESTful API and web services.
- Experience with Espresso and XCUITest UI automation framework
