You gain an overview over environmental markets, with a focus on the European emission trading system (EU ETS) and the emission trading system in the United Kingdom (UK ETS)
You support our team in the software development of fundamental market models
You improve our code base to increase user-friendliness and implement new functionalities
You prepare and analyse data for ad-hoc analyses regarding emission markets in Europe
Your profile
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (energy, renewables, or sustainability systems preferred) or (Energy) Economics
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Python (or at least one similar programming language), experience using GitHub and/or Databricks is a plus
Proactive mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous work or project experience in energy & market modelling is a plus
