YOUR ROLE

The semiconductor industry is the backbone of modern technology. Ensuring the quality, reliability, yield and safety of semiconductor processes and improving defectivity are fundamental.

The project's aim is to collect the main events of mechanical yield loss, identify root causes and areas for improvement, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and implement solutions to enhance the overall quality of the manufacturing process.

The primary objective of this project is to collaborate with the AG300 Front-End fab organization, including process, device, and process integration engineers, to conduct a robustness program. This involves analyzing scrap wafers in line, after parametric testing and yield loss events and developing a methodology for continuous improvement and robustness to prevent reoccurrences.

The goals are:

  • Provide periodic reports on the Wafer Fab Yield status.
  • Analyze scrap wafers in line, after parametric testing and yield loss events, to identify root causes, process weaknesses, and potential risks.
  • Monitor a quality improvement plan for identified issues to ensure they deliver the expected improvements in quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure the cross-fertilization of best practices and lessons learned between process work areas to avoid reoccurrences.
  • Use statistical process control and other quality management tools to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.

Profile

  • Knowledge of basic principles of business management and work organization
  • Inclination to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Ability to plan and manage projects
  • Ability to analyze, present and communicate results to various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other relevant software tools.

Skills required

  • Bachelor or Master degree in one of Scientific studies: physics, material science, chemical, management engineering
  • Proficient English
  • Good Communication Skills
