Working Student IT Communication (m/f/d)

GEA

Are you a student at university or business school with a talent for IT/Digitalization and a passion for communication? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferable German and the ability to describe complex topics in an understandable way? Could you see yourself in a role where collaborating with colleagues spread around the globe is part of the daily routine? And do you have at least two years of your studies left?

If yes, you could be the new student worker we’re looking for. Global engineering company and technology supplier GEA has an open position for the right candidate to take on the role as student worker in the Global IT Team focusing on IT communication & collaboration. Your workplace will be at our office in Düsseldorf, Germany, but since GEA has more than 18,000 employees worldwide, you will be working with colleagues from all over the world.

Depending on your skills and interests, you will support IT in terms of communication and collaboration in various topics. Possible tasks include, for example, planning and maintaining the IT intranet presence and the portal for IT employees, planning and implementing user experience formats, supporting the planning and implementation of IT surveys, and actively contributing to the communication of large global IT projects to the extent that your studies allow it.

It’s an advantage if you’re already familiar with SharePoint but as training will be provided, it’s not a must. However, you must be passionate about communications, and we expect that you’re a skilled communicator with a great attention to detail. Moreover, IT must be one of your strong suits. You’re also self-driven, service minded and responsible.

We 'd like to ask you to work at our office in Düsseldorf two-three days (approx. 20 hours) per week. We offer flexible working conditions where you’ll plan your own work schedule. Your study and exams will of course be taken into consideration.
