Harmonic Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks multiple System Integration and Testing Engineers.
Responsibilities: The System Integration and Testing Engineer is responsible for supporting the integration of Harmonic systems, hardware technology, and products into client environments. Duties include: supporting end-to-end integration of Harmonic electronics systems and components; applying electronics engineering principles; identifying gaps in Harmonic electronics systems and products to assist with product innovation; collaborating with stakeholders on Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) 4.0 PHY integrations and improvements of electronics systems and components; assisting clients with initial Full Duplex (FDX) DOCSIS deployments; participating in extended test scenarios with a focus on load, scale, performance, and stress aspects of electronic systems; reviewing requirements and integrations from PHY perspective of FDX telemetry and control algorithms; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Jose, California. Domestic travel required 10% of the time. Salary range $125k - $175k.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
