Entegris is looking for a supervisor leading our customer service on Quality and Engineering. In this role you will:
The Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) supervisor role is dynamic and cross-functional. CQE’s interacts at multiple levels and with multiple contact points within the Customer, Entegris and Supplier organizations. This role is high impact, high output and high visibility that requires a calm-assertive demeanor and capability to manage multiple ever-changing priorities. The position requires knowledge of raw material & product characterization and manufacturing processes. Within this role, the PACE value competencies are regularly required for success: Engage as guided with customers, FAE, sales and factory/product/supply chain/quality teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Being accountable by driving team solutions and technical execution for the performance and results on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer’s requirements, VOC for NPI process managing, audits, Project Development, and Product Management Support that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.
- Provides leadership and directions through developments and executions of organization or sub-functional strategy achieves key business objectives, and CQE responsibilities as defined by the CQE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, account specific support plan and as led by CQE management.
- Consistent decisions and discipline are guided by company and segment / functional strategy and objectives
- Being part of a global team that is values and solicits new ideas and guides to others designed to improve success of Entegris with our customers.
- Takes ownership of core processes by collaborations with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions and companies.
- Provides support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reporting and continuous improvement on project management.
- Creates an environment where a sense of urgency and innovation are expected excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values)
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years above semiconductor industrial experience, should have solid experiences of customer support management and people management. Bachelor or above Degree on Science in Chemical, Mechanical or Electric/Electronic Engineering; or related technical field preferred.
- Experience in an engineering role in the areas of quality, production, process, equipment, analysis or materials within the semiconductor industry. Areas of interest include PVD/ CVD, CMP, Photo, Etch, Implant, BCD and Liquid/Air/Gas Filtration & Purification.
- Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation management and project management focused on closing gaps between Entegris and customers.
- Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC, histograms, trend analysis, production/ process mapping, design of experiments, causes and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology.
- Strong leadership skills and people/team development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and alternate work shifts to balance workload across a North America and Asia scope of responsibility.
- Experience with working and communicating between North America based manufacturing facilities and Asia based support teams and customers.
- Ability to travel 10% to 50% domestic and international
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel/ vlookup, Word, Power point, and Project)
- Positive attitude and passionate with a proactive nature.

- CQE’s performance is measured by both quantitative and qualitative means that include both Customer and Entegris KPI’s that require CQE support and oversight as well as subjective interpersonal ratings from customers and internal stakeholders that are vital to the overall success of the CQE role.
