SHARE is currently working on a system update for applicants who use screen readers. A screen reader is a software application that enables people with visual impairments to use a computer. Screen readers work closely with the computers Operating System to provide information about icons, menus, dialogue boxes, files and folders. This position is the IT End User Support II for CFB

How does it get done?

To maintain the Agency's IT help desk by providing problem assessment, resolution and troubleshooting of IT problems in a professional and timely manner.

  • Working with direction from the Information Technology Officer
  • Serves as technical support for the agency and complete help desk tickets within assigned timeline.
  • Install OS and third-party software and troubleshoot network connection problems.
  • Maintain the digital recorded meetings of the agency.
  • Updating the agency's web sites as needed using WordPress.
  • Updating and tracking agency inventory.
  • Experience with Windows 11, M365, Adobe software, virtual meetings, etc.
  • Excellent research and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Keen attention to detail and highly self-motivated

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Hardware: personal computers, laptops, tablets, printers both desktop and networked, and networked copiers and switches.

Software: W11, M365, Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe software suite, Smartsheet, Assistive technology software such as Jaws, Kurzweil, Duxbury, NVDA.

User and computer account creation in Active Directory.

Email creation in Cayosoft.

DoIT work orders in Easy Vista.

Telephone work orders with Altura.

Website updating using WordPress.

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) years of experience in providing technical support to end- users for computer hardware, software, and/or network related problems. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
