You Are:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect who will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across various modules. The ideal candidate will also take on partial Business Analyst responsibilities — including stakeholder engagement, requirement elicitation, documentation, and ensuring alignment between the business objectives and technical implementation.

The opportunity:

  • Solution Architecture:

o Design scalable and high-performing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or other modules as per client needs.

o Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow best practices, out-of-the-box capabilities, and customizations.

  • Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze high-level and detailed requirements.

o Prepare and maintain BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and user stories.

  • Delivery Oversight & Governance:

o Review and validate the quality and alignment of delivered solutions.

o Conduct design reviews and approve technical deliverables.

  • Documentation & Communication:

o Maintain system architecture documentation and version-controlled repositories.

o Create solution presentation decks for internal and client stakeholders.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

  • 8+ years of total ServiceNow experience, with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect role.
  • Strong exposure to multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, IRM, or custom app development.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, workflows, UI policies, data policies, business rules, client scripts.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to lead workshops and translate functional needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within a cross-functional team.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certifications: CSA (Certified System Administrator), CAD (Certified Application Developer), and CSA (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party tools.
  • Experience with CMDB and data modeling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3/v4 framework.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and client-focused.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $110,000-$165,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
