About the team:

The SAP LABS BERLIN Team orchestrates and guides the execution of SAP’s Labs Network Strategy with the local Berlin & Potsdam Chapter striving for the best operating SAP Lab. We strengthen SAP's position as a pioneer and innovation driver in and around Berlin and with relevant stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

You’re a driven allrounder eager to take on new business process operations, event management, and project management challenges? If the answer is yes, we have the right opportunity for you!

As part of the the Labs Berlin COO Team, you will support the successful end-to-end execution of various (virtual and in-person) events and provide ad-hoc operations support to the team. You will assist strategic initiatives and maximize operational efficiencies in event, project and change management. Your goal will be to maximize SAP’s visibility within the ecosystem of Berlin/Potsdam, drive external engagement and ensure smooth change management processes together with the Ecosystem Engagement Lead (6-12 months).

Your specific tasks include but are not limited to:

Ecosystem Engagement:

  • Development of formats and defining a strategy to maximize SAP’s visibility in the vibrant Berlin ecosystem – e.g., via conference participation, meetup organization, local sponsorships, customer and partner sessions
  • Preparation, communication, documentation and follow-up of events, conferences, networking formats and other initiatives including internal and external stakeholders
  • Creation of concepts and content for information rollout (management reports, team channels, pitch decks, reporting decks, etc.)
  • Leverage SAP’s collaboration tools (newsletters (CommsHub), Sharepoint, Wiki-pages, news articles, social media etc.) to maximize external visibility in close collaboration with the communication and marketing team
  • Overall coordination of program/projects management activities and provide program & project management support for (area specific) projects

Project Support:

  • Ensure smooth collaboration of various stakeholders and co-ordinate the exchange of information between multiple workstreams
  • Contribute to process definition, rollout and monitoring (e.g., identifying KPIs, processing data and information, etc.) to ensure continuous processes and quality improvements
  • Operations support for further strategic projects and initiatives

Who you are:

  • (Master-)Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Analytics, Innovation Management, Project Management or similar
  • Well-versed in MS Office, Tableau or similar and able to rapidly and independently learn new tools to translate sophisticated and creative analyses into actionable results, messages, and presentations
  • Have an analytical mindset and can independently extract relevant information and hypotheses from various sources
  • Language skills: English and German proficiency required
  • Highly flexible, able to work and thrive in a rapidly changing environment, able to handle uncertainty nd frequent changes.
  • Excellent executer gets the job done in a positive, reliable and encouraging manner.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
