Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced mechanical solutions that enhance aircraft performance and safety, contributing to the future of aviation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components for aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and development within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as NX or CATIA, enabling effective oversight of the design process.
  • Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to validate product performance.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to aerospace engineering.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
  • Experience with product testing and validation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
