Position Purpose:

This temporary position (July/August) provides a practical work experience to high school students, and other entry level candidates, looking to build their resumes. Someone holding this position can expect to provide general support to Piecework and Quality Assurance functions under the direction of an assigned mentor. Interaction with customers, associates, management and/or visitors may occur. Functions as a team member within the department and organization.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Performs general piecework and QA duties as assigned including but not limited to repacks and quality checks and clerical work.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps work area clean. Ensures work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs quality control checks on items and contacts supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.

Must be able to work the scheduled shift, perform in multi-temperature environment.

Must be able to stand, walk, reach and lift through shift.

Must be able to pass post offer background check and drug screen.
