Your responsibilities

• Supporting the Supply Chain Operations and Asset Management Demo team in implementing Lean Management principles and driving process improvements
• Assisting in the introduction and implementation of 5S and Lean concepts in the warehouse environment
• Supporting 5S audits and helping to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with the team to optimize material flows and reduce lead times
• Assisting in the development and execution of process improvement projects to achieve cost savings
• Supporting the implementation of visual management tools, including key performance indicators and daily performance dialogues.
• Preparing and maintaining Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborating with various teams to promote Lean methods and practices and sharing best practices

Your qualifications

• You are a Bachelor or Master student (m/f/d) enrolled in one of the following majors: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• You have already gained first-hand experience in Lean Management or process optimization, either through internships, coursework, or other practical experiences
• You have basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally some experience with PowerPoint and presentation skills
• You have excellent communication skills in German, both written and spoken. English is a plus
• Your strengths include a proactive work attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• You live in or near Hamburg and will work mostly onsite at the Olympus main warehouse in Hamburg-Allermöhe
