You will be:
- Designing components, assemblies, and subassemblies in line with Garrett’s high standards.
- Ensuring the fit and function of all components and assemblies.
- Leading the design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and product improvements.
- Developing components that are integral to complex systems.
- Applying your mechanical engineering expertise to a mix of product development and improvement projects.
- Supporting diverse projects across various markets with your engineering capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement).
- 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer.
- Hands-on experience with gearbox development or casted components.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as CATIA, Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER, or SolidWorks.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in a highly regulated or safety-critical industry is a plus.
