Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Department: Custom Solutions

Reports To: Engineering Manager – Custom Solutions

Location: Cranberry Twp. PA

Position Summary

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to produce technical drawings for machinery and system components using CAD software. This role supports engineering by converting design concepts into clear, accurate documentation for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Work closely with engineers to define design requirements
• Use AutoCAD or SolidWorks to develop accurate, production-ready layouts
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
• Update drawings based on revisions or feedback
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
• Support other engineering tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Infor CSI and Arena (PLM) or similar tools
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based; occasional hands-on tool use
