Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

Immediate openings for a Lathe Machinist, working in the 1st or 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Department. This role involves setting up and operating CNC Lathes to produce high-quality parts with high tempature superalloys.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes, including Okuma Lathe, Doosan Lathe, and Okuma OSP Lathe.
  • Check dimensions and materials to ensure finished parts conform to work orders.
  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and efficiently use consumable tools.
  • Notify lead personnel or setup machinist if machinery is not operating effectively.
  • Observe safety precautions at all times, including the use of safety glasses, safety shoes, ear protection, and machine guards.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with CNC lathe setup and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding G-Code programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience machining parts to specifications using secondary operation machine tools.
  • Capability to monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Good judgment in decisions regarding process and problem-solving.

Work Environment

Work in a large machine shop setting with 2nd shift hours from 2:30pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hatfield, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
