Libbey’s historic outlet store is looking for an energetic, customer-loving part-time Sales Associate to join our team.

This is a part-time position, working up to 30 hours/week. The Libbey Outlet Store is open Monday-Sunday. Scheduling is flexible, however you must work at least one weekend day each week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistance
- Stock shelves with company product, check in outside vendor merchandise as it arrives
- Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters, suggesting items
- Advise customers by providing information on products
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence: offering suggestions and opinions
- Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records, if applicable
- Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash and store or other credit cards
- Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
- General housekeeping including cleaning the break room and employee restrooms
- Lead, influence and empower the organization to fulfill our purpose (living our legacy, shaping our future, and winning as one).

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required
- Strong customer service skills
- Retail experience, preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- General math skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers to operate office tools and sampling equipment
- Frequent speaking/listening in face-to-face and/or telephone conversations
- Occasional standing/walking in both office and factory environments
