Job Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist I provides diagnostic evaluations and intervention programs for children with speech, language, learning, feeding/swallowing, or hearing disorders in all settings in which services are offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth programs. The Speech-Language Pathologist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP).
Qualifications
EDUCATION – Master’s degree in Speech- Language Pathology or related field.
EXPERIENCE – AAC And Autism Experience Preferred
CERTIFICATION(S) – BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR; American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)-Speech-Language Pathologist
LICENSURE – State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment
