Job title: Test Engineer

Role Type: Permanent

Location & Hours: Yeovil, fulltime

As a Test Engineer at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for development and test engineering activities associated with mechanical systems and components. Responsibility will be across the Life Support System, Environmental Control System and Hydraulics product lines at both component and system level.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Execution of qualification and development testing
• Gathering and analysis of engineering test data using data acquisition systems
• Writing up of test reports
• Working with senior engineers to gain in depth knowledge of Honeywell components and test facilities
• Assisting in product fault diagnosis and manufacturing/production test issues

Qualifications

Key skills and qualifications:

• You will need to come from an engineering background and have a strong knowledge and understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics system components
• A working knowledge of Honeywell Life Support and Environmental Control Systems
• Experience of working in SAP
• Experience working in materials and process engineering within the aerospace industry
