Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in DCS-DeltaV Systems to support automation projects in the Life Sciences manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant, and efficient automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and configure DeltaV DCS, PLCs, SCADA, and related automation software.
- Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, user manuals, and SOPs.
- Implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems, including integration with MES and other enterprise systems.
- Participate in project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
- Apply industry best practices and standards in automation system design and implementation.
- Stay current with evolving automation technologies and trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, Bio-Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant automation experience in Life Sciences Manufacturing.
- Proven experience with DeltaV DCS systems is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
