You will be the Electrical Engineer for the PAC-3 launcher program at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be the primary technical contact and subject matter expert supporting PAC-3 Ground Support Equipment Depot Operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact for PAC-3 electronics hardware
  • Leading failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action for production hardware
  • Presenting technical issues to program leadership and stakeholders, including SHIELD
  • Coordinating activities between sustainment sites and the program to clear constraints
  • Coordinating changes to the Technical Data Package to meet program and customer needs
  • Presenting changes to change review boards and ensuring accurate and appropriate presentations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and isolate electrical failures in a production or depot environment
  • Proficient experience interpreting drawings, schematics, interface specifications, system level requirements and production planning is required.
  • Support internal meetings, prepare presentations, support capacity study/process improvements and support external meetings with Customers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization and teaming skills are required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Ability to travel approx. 10% of time
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Material Review Board Engineering Authority experience and demonstrated ability to lead the coordination of dispositioning electrical and mechanical defects for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and electrical and mechanical subassemblies to determine if items need to be reworked, repaired, or scrapped.
  • Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
  • Proficient proposal experience authoring and reviewing Basis of Estimates
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
  • PATRIOT Air Defense System ground system experience is desirable
  • Requirements development and decomposition
  • Hardware troubleshooting experience in lab, depot, and production environments
  • Standard Operating Procedure development
  • Acceptance Test Procedure development
  • Familiar with Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
