The Opportunity

Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the Presales/ Application Engineer position as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

  • Familiar with our products and proficient in using our software and able to provide professional presentations and training to customers
  • Visits prospective users’ sites with our sales/ independently and support presales activities
  • Contribute to promotion activities/training for LS-DYNA and Oasys software and products in China
  • Assistant sales to develop new leads
  • Maintain relationships with our existing customers
  • Confers with Arup’s ADE groups in UK, Japan and US to clarify or resolve commercial problems
  • Sales/Support perimeter is China
  • Software portfolio includes own Oasys software Suite, LST LS-DYNA solver and commercial FE models of dummies and automotive barriers

Is this role right for you?

  • We are looking for professionals with over 3+ years of experience.
  • A BSc degree in Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge of the LS-DYNA/OASYS or other FEM modelling software is required
  • A minimum experience relating to software sales and client management is required
  • Coding skills using C++, Python and/or Javascript is a plus
  • Willingness to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office literate using Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English
