Join the Thermal Systems Design team at GE Aerospace Advanced Technology in Garching, Munich, as a Working Student/Intern, and leverage your technical & analytical skills to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in cutting-edge Thermal technology in support of GE Aerospace’s ongoing engine development programs. Gain hands-on experience and be part of a team pushing the boundaries of aerospace engineering.

Start: August/September. Duration: min. 6 months. Working hours: 20h/week

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Munich Thermal Systems Design team on heat exchanger development efforts.
  • Execute thorough post-processing and data analysis.
  • Define and evaluate CAD models and engineering drawings of rig hardware.
  • Compile documentation on test instrumentation and hardware inspection reports.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing findings and progress to team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Students minimum at 3rd year of University (BSc.) or MSc. in disciplines such as Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Passionate about aerospace engineering, with experience in thermal design, heat transfer, and flow calculations (CFD)
  • Ability to summarize complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to tackle challenges and achieve results.
