ABOUT GRIDGAIN

Modern business-critical applications such as AI modeling, high-performance transaction processing, real-time decisioning, fraud detection and risk management all require more than just access to real-time data. These applications need a data platform that can store, access, process and analyze hundreds of terabytes of data at ultra-low latencies with high availability.

GridGain is a leading real-time data platform by the original creators of Apache Ignite. It is the fastest, most non-intrusive way to process enterprise-wide data for AI, transactions and analytics in real time and at massive scale. GridGain allows companies to combine a fast multi-model database with robust compute functionality to deliver the fast access data storage and low-millisecond processing required for today’s business imperatives.

GridGain is trusted by leading companies including Citi, Barclays, American Airlines, AutoZone, and UPS to accelerate their existing applications, speed operational analytics and fraud detection, train machine learning models for AI, and provide fast-access data hubs.

GridGain is growing! Join the team and play a critical role in a fast-paced Silicon Valley startup that's changing the definition of "real time," and the world's expectations for high-speed data processing and analytics.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to align customer needs with roadmap capabilities.
  • Lead technical workshops and support enterprise evaluations and pilots.
  • Evangelize GridGain through community events, training sessions, and developer enablement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Linux-based environments and enterprise system architecture.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, including one or more of: in-memory computing, caching, data grids, or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, C++, or Python.
  • Prior experience supporting mission-critical, low-latency applications in sectors like finance, telecom, or eCommerce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GridGain, Apache Ignite, or similar platforms (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with SQL and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Flink, Pulsar).
  • Exposure to memory-first architectures, colocated compute/data processing, or digital integration platforms.
  • Ability to guide clients through capacity planning, cluster design, and performance benchmarking.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring—via technical blogs, webinars, hackathons, or meetups.

Additional Details:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and technical workshops.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.
