This role creates, implements and improves engineering designs, processes, techniques, tooling and machinery to meet customer requirements and maximize product quality.
What You Will Do:
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
What You Will Have:
Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems, compare alternatives, and use tools like flowcharts and Pareto charts to identify root causes and solutions.
Effective Communication: Skilled in delivering clear, jargon-free communication and constructive feedback across teams and stakeholders.
Technical Excellence: Solid foundation in applying engineering principles and current technologies to solve functional challenges and improve product quality.
Team Collaboration: Understands team dynamics and contributes to building effective, cohesive teams across traditional and virtual environments.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Applies DFM principles to simplify designs, reduce costs, and improve manufacturability using standard tools and practices.
Manufacturing Engineering: Supports engineering operations by resolving issues, drafting specifications, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Product Testing: Executes and documents testing procedures to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with functional requirements.
Troubleshooting: Uses standard diagnostic tools and procedures to identify and resolve technical issues in manufacturing or development environments.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
