Job Description

This entry-level professional role coordinates the planning, training, and support for Church procurement technology products and services, particularly our contracting system. The Procurement System Administrator may be responsible for user provisioning, managing workflows, providing system maintenance, and managing product update projects from initiation to delivery. This position provides system performance and user reporting as required.

This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates across teams domestically and globally to successfully deliver a product or service, particularly our contracting system
  • Manage approval workflows within procurement systems
  • Trains and supports users of assigned procurement technology (products or services)
  • Develops and executes basic project plans to ensure all deliverables are on time with the highest quality possible
  • Consults with senior managers and product users to ensure that products and services are accessible and performing to expected standards
  • Identify and report key performance indicators to internal partners/customers and senior leaders
  • Enables and encourages the use of the procurement technology (products or services)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years in a discipline that supports the management of technical projects
  • Confidence in use of Microsoft Office suite; especially Excel
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining productive working relationships and delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment
  • A drive to learn and the ability to accept and manage change
  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and Tableau
  • Familiarity with SMART by GEP or other contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool
