JOB SUMMARY
Under administrative review, perform management level work directed toward the planning, implementation and coordination of one or more programs. Overall responsibility for the day-to-day project management of assigned programs/projects, as part of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist - Project Management Team. Types of projects include: facility enhancements, integration, synergy driven initiatives, initiatives to increase margin and improve patient care, and projects specifically supporting expansion and growth within the market, to include facility and service line overall growth.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 5+ or more years of experience. Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, administration, or supervisory experience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION
Certified project management professional preferred or able to obtain within 12-15 months after hiring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization's target population and that are in alignment with the organization's stated mission.
- Assists in the development of customized solutions to individual client needs.
- Adheres to the established methodologies, practices and procedures for documentation, project management, change management, to promote accountability that cultivates a collaborative work environment with our customers and ensures delivery of agreed upon expectations.
- Under direction and guidance from more experience program managers, defines project scope, budget, goals and deliverables that support the business requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Manages project development from beginning to end including clear and concise timeline expectations to the project team.
- Under direction and guidance from more experienced program managers, plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Coordinates resource estimates and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, budget, project issues, potential risks, and devises contingency plans.
- Delivers status reports, change/risk/issue logs, meeting minutes and presentations.
- Manages clinical, business, and vendor resources in a matrix environment working with appropriate management to secure the appropriate resources.
- Coordinates and ensures that training specific to the project is planned and executed when required.
