The Transformation Management Organization Analyst is a pivotal role dedicated to revolutionizing Ford's approach to warranty cost management.

Job Responsibilities

As our Transformation Management Organization Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving change. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of complex, cross-functional warranty reduction initiatives aimed at transforming Ford's warranty cost management and enhancing overall product quality.
  • Conducting deep-dive analysis of warranty data to identify key cost drivers, emerging issues, and significant opportunities for reduction across vehicle platforms, components, and global markets.
  • Mapping, analyzing, and re-engineering end-to-end warranty processes – from initial product design and supplier quality to manufacturing, service operations, and customer resolution – ensuring optimal efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating extensively with diverse teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Warranty, Financial, Executive Leadership, Manufacturing, Launch, Field Service, Dealerships, and Customers, to align strategies, build consensus, and implement integrated solutions.
  • Defining, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warranty cost, process efficiency, and quality improvements, providing regular, insightful updates to executive leadership.
  • Driving the adoption of new methodologies, tools, and systems to enhance data analytics, predictive capabilities, and proactive issue resolution within warranty management.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing paradigms, and fostering innovative solutions to complex quality and cost challenges throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrating exceptional resilience and adaptability, effectively navigating ambiguous situations, managing competing priorities, and responding strategically to unexpected obstacles or evolving business needs with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Facilitating robust risk management and mitigation strategies for all assigned programs, ensuring timely identification and effective resolution of impediments.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader, influencing stakeholders at all levels to embrace and implement transformational changes.

You'll have...

To excel in this role, you'll need a robust blend of technical expertise, program management skills, and strategic thinking:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Analytics and 5+ years experience
  • Exceptional Program Management Prowess: A proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex technical programs from conception through execution and closure, preferably within an automotive or other large-scale manufacturing environment.
  • Deep Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous data analysis, identify root causes, and develop practical, data-driven solutions to intricate business challenges, leveraging various analytical tools and techniques.
  • Expertise in Process Optimization: Strong understanding and hands-on application of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) to re-engineer end-to-end workflows and achieve measurable improvements.
  • Strategic & Systems Thinking: The capability to conceptualize complex systems, understand interdependencies across various functions, and develop long-term strategic roadmaps for quality and cost transformation.
  • Outstanding Communication and Influence: Superior ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, and to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships, foster collaboration, and drive alignment across various departments (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Service, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Dealership Networks).
  • Change Leadership: A demonstrated ability to champion and drive significant organizational change, overcoming resistance and ensuring successful adoption of new processes and initiatives across a large, complex organization

While not strictly required, candidates with the following experience will be particularly well-suited for this role:

  • Direct experience in automotive warranty analysis, quality engineering, or service operations, specifically within a large-scale OEM.
  • Familiarity with Ford's internal quality systems, product development processes (e.g., GPDS), and global manufacturing footprint.
  • Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence to predict, prevent, and mitigate warranty issues.
  • Global program management experience, working with diverse international teams and supply chains.
  • Prior experience in a consulting role focused on operational efficiency, supply chain optimization, or cost reduction within a large enterprise.
  • Comfort with large data sets, various data systems, analytics platforms, and a foundational understanding of automotive product development, manufacturing processes, and vehicle systems.
