Job Title: Validation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Validation Engineer to join our hardware validation team. You will be responsible for testing and validating analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems for products, collaborating closely with design and integration teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct test and validation of analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems for products.
- Collaborate closely with design and integration teams to ensure seamless hardware validation.
- Develop and execute verification plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure proper functioning of hardware designs.
- Write and implement test plans involving microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, power supplies, electric motors, high-speed, and RF components.
- Troubleshoot and debug PCB designs, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Perform analog circuit testing and power supply testing.
Essential Skills
- Strong validation experience in hardware verification.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering and PCB design.
- Experience with hardware verification, including analog circuit testing and PCB troubleshooting.
- Ability to write and execute detailed test plans.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, power supplies, electric motors, and high-speed RF components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in board-level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products.
- Experience developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification.
- Strong hands-on soldering skills with both through-hole and surface-mount components.
- Proven experience in design verification for hardware systems, including board-level debugging and analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment
This role is based onsite in Redmond, WA. You will work within a collaborative team environment, engaging with various engineering disciplines to achieve project goals. The position offers a dynamic work setting with opportunities for long-term project involvement and professional growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
