Job Summary
A research assistant position in biomedical imaging, data science, and artificial intelligence is immediately available in the Quantitative Bioimaging Laboratory at the Center for Imaging and Surgical Innovation at the University of Texas at Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center. The research assistant will work in a collaborative research team that includes biomedical engineers, computer scientists, electrical engineers, radiologists, surgeons, and other clinicians. The candidate will collaborate with other researchers, residents, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students in an outstanding research group. The research laboratory is located in the Bioengineering and Science Building at the University of Texas at Dallas. The candidate will have the opportunity for high-quality training in research, education, and leadership. Research areas cover biomedical imaging, medical devices, machine learning, augmented reality, image processing, and image-guided interventions.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.
