POSITION TITLE: SYSTEMS CLIENT CONSULTANT
DEPARTMENT: CLIENT SYSTEMS SUPPORT
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of business experience with general knowledge of the financial industry, operations, systems, and services required; 3-5 years of prior client services and relationship management experience or technology experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Federated Hermes and DST products, systems, operations and services preferred.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Provide day-to-day support for clients using EDGEnet, Alliance Partner interfaces, and other system related products and applications. Maintain a solid understanding of the products and systems supporting clients in order to resolve operating and system issues.
- Monitor and respond to client inquiries received via the System Client Consultant toll-free support line or team mailbox.
- Based on interactions with the clients and their feedback, identify and recommend the Federated Hermes system related products, enhancements, services and efficiency gains that assist the client to resolve operating and system issues.
- Coordinate the installation/establishment of the various Federated Hermes systems and products for our clients (EDGEnet, Batch EDGE, Secure File Transfer, etc. Ensure the client can begin conducting business, effectively and within the capabilities of Federated Hermes’s operations.
- Lead the client through trainings and tutorials on the various Federated Hermes systems and products. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Act as a liaison with our Alliance partners regarding client and fund setup operational issues.
- Work with internal departments as needed to resolve any system/product related issues encountered by clients.
- Effectively represent business unit and its clients in meetings with internal departments (Client Relationship Management, Sales, and ITetc.) to resolve administrative and operational issues affecting client relationships.
- Review all planned formal communications and be prepared to answer client questions.
- Identify trends impacting the quality of service provided and escalate as necessary, providing recommendations for resolution. Prepare system enhancement requests based on feedback from clients or needs identified during normal client servicing. Participate in their development, testing, and implementation. Represent the business unit and clients in system/enhancement-related projects.
- Provide quality control reviews for exception processing requests received electronically from intermediary and institutional clients. Review and validate digital signatures on account processing documentation and perform callouts to clients to verify wire instruction changes requested by client firm.
- Remain proactive regarding issues, escalating when appropriate and ensuring all problems are resolved in a satisfactory manner. Keep team members and management informed, conveying a sense of accountability and commitment to stakeholders and service/business goals. Adhere to current policies, procedures and quality standards.
HOURS/LOCATION:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
- Hybrid schedule (in-office / remote)
- Warrendale Location – Warrendale, PA 15086
