As Supplier Quality Engineer - Special Processes you will support suppliers for Special Processes during industrialization and qualification process for new product industrialization in the Supply Chain.

You will take part in Design reviews and drawing changes to improve clarity of inspections requirements and grant design intent verification during production. You will also provide support to other functions and SQEs moving a cultural change across the organization to ensure a quality mindset.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support our main Special Processes suppliers, especially on: NDT methods, Heat Treatment & control (AMS2750), Coatings (thermal, chemical), laboratory techniques
  • Active support especially with our chemical suppliers on different processes, such as: Conversion Coating, Anodic, Chemical, Black Oxide, Phosaphate, Plating, Painting…
  • Partecipate in Plating-Quality Control/Testing (thickness, adhesion, appearance, tank chemistry, hydrogen embrittlement, metal purity, hardness, residual stress, chemical concentration)
  • Perform statistical analysis (specification & control limits)
  • Evaluate internal/external data to assist in identifying trends and recommending system improvements
  • Direct support on REACh project

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Material Science.
  • Previous experience in a Laboratory role and/or experience as Supplier Quality Engineer
  • Mechanical drawing knowledge and understanding
  • Good knowledge of main raw material process realization (casting, forging, powder production)
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

  • Ability to apply APQP, FMEA methods
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ynamic, Self-independent, charismatic and initiative person
  • Availability to frequent visit to our suppliers both European and Extra European country
