The IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of both software development initiatives and technical IT implementations across the enterprise. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within scope, and on budget, while aligning with strategic business goals and IT governance standards.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Manage software development projects, including custom applications, system integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Oversee technical rollouts such as ERP deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Track progress using project management tools (e.g., Planview, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and executive updates.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Adhere to IT governance frameworks, including SDLC, SOX, and change management protocols.
  • Ensure documentation, testing, and training are completed prior to go-live.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and transition to operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, including software development and technical implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP), cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and enterprise applications.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
