WMS Solutions Developer

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and enhance workflows using Advantage Architect and WebWise (screen layouts, RF menus, user navigation)
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server procedures, functions, and queries for real-time and batch WMS operations
  • Support and maintain key WMS modules such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and cycle counting
  • Collaborate with business teams to build integrations across EDI platforms, D2C portals, and back-end systems
  • Troubleshoot warehouse execution and task issues using RF devices and system logs
  • Build SSRS reports and maintain detailed configuration and technical documentation
  • Participate in testing, version upgrades, and deployment cycles

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Warehouse Advantage (HighJump/Körber/Infios)
  • Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server development, including performance tuning
  • Proven experience with WebWise layout tools and Advantage Architect
  • Strong knowledge of SSRS and report delivery methods
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations and WMS logic (inbound/outbound, task interleaving, exceptions, etc.)
  • Familiarity with EDI transaction sets (e.g., 940, 945, 856) and Ecommerce workflows (shopping carts, labels, waving, billing, carrier integrations, etc.)
  • Körber/HighJump Warehouse Advantage experience
  • Experience with label design software and barcode symbologies
  • Exposure to .NET/C# for custom extensions or service hooks
  • Background supporting cold storage or 3PL environments
