Location: 100% Remote supporting Dallas, TX office

Job Title: Java Developer Contractor (Remote – U.S. Citizens Only)

Pay: $55-60 per hour (W2)

Duration: 6+month

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Java Developer with 6–9 years of experience to support the Deloitte project team. The contractor will design, develop, and maintain high-performing Java-based applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, test, and maintain Java applications.
2. Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Conduct unit testing, debugging, and participate in code reviews.
4. Assist with troubleshooting and support for technical issues.
5. Contribute to functional documentation and present solutions to non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
2. Advanced full-stack Java development experience.
3. Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
4. Back-end expertise: Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST APIs, JUnit.
5. U.S. Citizenship (required for contract eligibility).

Preferred Skills:

1. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
2. Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or SQL Server.
3. Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Knowledge of cybersecurity remediation, JEE design patterns, and formats like XML, JSON, YAML.
