- Drive research and development of the full hardware and software stack for autonomous systems.
- Conduct and publish cutting-edge research in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Oversee platform enhancement initiatives, introducing new features and improving existing capabilities to support autonomous vehicle testing and deployment.
- Mentor and supervise Master's students, undergraduate researchers, and interns in related research activities.
- Collaborate closely with research engineers and students within the Advanced Robotics Centre (ARC) to foster innovation and knowledge exchange.
Qualifications
- Completed (or pursuing) a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Engineering related to autonomous vehicles and robotics
- Evidence of strong publication record in top academic journals or conferences
- Familiar with vehicle structures, electronics, vehicle kinematics and dynamics
- Familiar with autonomous vehicle Drive-by-Wire (DBW) systems
- Familiar with CAD/CAM, fast prototyping
- Familiar with autonomous vehicles modules such as Perception, Localization and Navigation
- Experience with popular robotics middlewares and simulation tools (ROS, Gazebo, IsaacSim, PyBullet)
- Experience in C/C++ and Python
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A strong team player and leader
- Open to fixed term contract
