Utilize expertise in addressing the operational needs of customers in TMAC (Technical and Management Assistance & Consulting) that require assistance with production and inventory control, warehousing operations engineering, and mechanical design manufacturing related artifacts. The beneficiary will design, develop, and implement the process for providing advanced engineering expertise in implementing production operations, logistics, and supply chain related projects for manufacturing companies in the Paso del Norte (PdN) region. The beneficiary’s primary duties will include implementing customized engineering solutions for local manufacturing companies in the areas of advanced mechanical design, operations, and supply chain; determining applicability of smart manufacturing technologies to improve operations for local warehousing specific companies; pursuing APICS-related certifications to assist with TMAC’s workforce development initiatives; coordinating and supporting collaboration with other departments, University, UT System, the State of Texas, or federal government organizations as required; and leading the “Logistics and Supply Chain” area for TMAC PdN.
