Your Role & Scope at SellerX

At SellerX, we’re growing our Tech team and looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the development of the SellerX Portal, our fast-evolving internal platform. You'll be responsible for designing and building complex UI features, maintaining scalable frontend architecture, and ensuring an intuitive user experience across all modules.

In Detail, you’ll be hands-on

• Leading the frontend architecture and direction of the SellerX Portal
• Building modular, scalable React applications with clean separation of concerns
• Translating product specs and UX flows into intuitive, responsive user interfaces
• Working closely with designers and product managers to fine-tune UI/UX
• Driving performance optimization, reusable component libraries, and test infrastructure
• Helping define and implement CI/CD best practices for frontend delivery
• Unblocking yourself or teammates by occasionally jumping into Python-based backend code when needed

Requirements to thrive in your new role:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development, especially with React
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), component design, and state management
• Experience with Vite, Yarn, and modern build pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• A sharp eye for detail and usability—comfortable working closely with or independently from designers
• Experience building or maintaining automated UI testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Selenium)
• Ability to work with backend logic or APIs; bonus if you’ve worked with Python
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with micro frontend or microservice architectures
• Background in building design systems or reusable frontend component libraries
• Familiarity with Docker in development workflows
• Knowledge of frontend performance tuning and optimization
• Exposure to CI/CD practices for frontend deployments
• Interest in product ownership or contributing to platform strategy
• Experience setting up or refining frontend testing environments
